Who are we?
The Empowerment & Integration Network of Francophone Immigrants in Ontario (EINFIO) is a Francophone immigrant-owned and led charitable organization based in Ontario. We are dedicated to empowering Black African immigrants, particularly those from marginalized and vulnerable communities, through a holistic range of services while respecting and strengthening their social and cultural values. Through language and vocational training, mentorship, career development, upskilling, reskilling, and community partnerships, we help newcomers build the skills, confidence, and connections they need to successfully integrate, secure meaningful employment, and thrive in Ontario.
Why we exist
| Helping Newcomers Overcome Integration Challenges | We help new Black immigrants adjust to their new environment and confidently navigate the systems and services they need to understand. |
| Promoting Equity and Inclusion | To achieve social equity, we advocate for inclusive practicies that reflect and respond to the lived realities of Black immigants. |
| Ending Isolation and Discrimination | We work to reduce isolation and combat discrimination by fostering meaningful dialogues, connections, and creating opportunities for participation in community life. |
| Supporting Community Development Initiatives | We promote and support education, skill development, and community involvement to strengthen and support Black immigrant community initiatives. |
